Drawing
I have never had any drawing skills at all. Light, composition, shading and perspective have all been very scary words. I've always just accepted that it wasn't my thing and let my hubby and his sister draw pictures for our children. No more. I'm determined to improve over the next year. At first I'll just be using pencils but as I improve I'm hoping to start using pencil crayons. I'll almost exclusively be drawing manga/anime this year with my main focus on Naruto.
Photography
I got a Nikon D3100 for Christmas. I'm determined to improve my photography skills and learn how to actually use my camera instead of keeping it on AUTO like I did with my D40.
I'll be alternating between posting my drawings (the thought of this terrifies me!) and photographs (as does this to a lesser degree) every day over the next year.
I welcome any helpful tips and constructive criticism. :)
It's that time of year again. When the trees get covered with snow and ice. It's really quite beautiful.
